The morphology of two acid catalysed furfuraldehyde resins (FH and FAH) was characterized by scanning electron microscopy (SEM), mercury porosimetry and volumetric adsorption. The pore size distribution of these resins showed maxima around 23 and 60 nm for FH and FAH, respectively.
